Leroy E. Clem, 89, of Du Quoin, passed away at 11:20 P.M., Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at the Fairview Nursing Center in Du Quoin.
Leroy had worked as a roustabout in the oil field.  He was of the Protestant faith.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II.
He was born October 21, 1915 at Kansas City, MO, the son of John Joseph and Sarah Jane (Box) Clem.
Leroy never married.  He is survived by nieces and nephews including Lois Gross of Du Quoin and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 21, 2005 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with Rev. Steve Bareis officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
